I just wanted to pass on my thanks to you guys, especially Mike. I got a tattoo of the world on my left upper inner arm in October. Well, I'm back at home in NZ now, and have been getting compliments left right and centre about it. Mike, you've done a marvelous job. It is so clean and perfect and absolutely what I wanted. Ka pai (Maori for awesome, etc.)! Northern Canada and southern Europe are looking great, I love how fine you've done the lines.

Ok, just wanted to gush a wee bit and pass on the compliments.

Remember at New Tribe we only use disposable single use needles and sterilize all our tools in Autoclaves tested every 2 weeks by an approved outside third party. And we are inspected at least yearly by the Toronto Board of Health. We have a perfectly passed inspection report issued as recently as June 21st, 2011.

Hello New Tribe,

I was in your shop last friday (June 24) to get my first tattoo. My daughters have had several tattoos done with you and have always been happy with the results. So, at age 61, I got my very first tattoo... but it won't be my last!!!

Particularly, I would like to thank Tara for an incredible job on the 'celtic mother's knot' that she did on my back.
I have had so many wonderful comments from family and friends alike, and I just can't stop looking at it myself in the mirror. Tara made the whole experience very pleasant, and might I say, nowhere near as painfull as I imagined.

Thanks so much again, and Tara - you will be seeing me again soon for the second one!

Thanks to your provincial government,
we now have to charge HST ON TATTOOS!
After absorbing the GST since 1994, we can no longer do that with a 13% tax. So unfortunately now we must collect this tax on top of our existing tattoo price.

Our piercing prices have been adjusted slightly (some of our more popular ones have actually been lowered) and reflect an all-in total (including HST and jewellery).

We now offer UV blacklight tattooing.
We now carry Skin Candy UV reflective pigments in a variety of colours, including invisible to the eye! This is the same pigment endorsed by Chris Garver and used on Miami Ink.

We would like to welcome our new tattoo artist PAUL SAMPLONIUS.
Paul has been tattooing since 1994 and has worked at such name shops as Tat-a-rama, Capital in Edmonton, Universal in Ottawa and most recently Good Times here in Toronto. He also ran his own private studio in Ottawa for a few years. He is a great tattooer who enjoys large scale Asian and clean simple traditional, but is open to all styles.

We are REGULARLY inspected by the Toronto board of health and perform MONTHLY autoclave spore tests on all our autoclaves. You are safe in our hands! Recent copies of aformentioned reports are available for viewing on our SHOP INFO page under HEALTH STANDARDS and in the shop itself.

PAIN-FREE TATTOOING!
(well, almost). We now carry EMLA which, when applied 1.5 hours ahead of time, will give you 1-2 hours of near pain-free tattooing. The kit, which includes a 5g tube and 2 dressings, retails in our shop for $20 tax included and should be picked up in advance of your tattoo appt. so that the cream can be applied 1.5 hours prior to getting tattooed.
